How do I search for a vehicle's details?
Open MotoBox, tap on the search bar on the home screen, enter the vehicle's number plate (e.g., MH01AB1234), and tap Search. You'll see the vehicle's registration details including owner name, registration date, insurance status, and PUCC validity.
Is the vehicle information accurate?
Vehicle information is sourced from government databases (Vahan/Parivahan). While we strive for accuracy, we recommend verifying critical details directly with the RTO or relevant authorities.
How do I check challans for my vehicle?
Go to the Challan section in the app, enter your vehicle number, and tap Check. The app will display any pending traffic challans associated with that vehicle number. Note that recently issued challans may take some time to appear in the system.
How does DigiLocker integration work?
The GloveBox feature connects to DigiLocker, a Government of India initiative. When you link your DigiLocker account, you can access your digital documents (RC, Driving Licence, etc.) directly within MotoBox. We do not store your DigiLocker credentials.
How do I add a vehicle to My Garage?
After searching for a vehicle, tap 'Add to Garage' to save it. You can also manually add vehicles from the Garage section. Once added, MotoBox will track your insurance and PUCC expiry dates and send you timely reminders.
How do I check my FASTag balance?
Go to the FASTag section in the app and enter your vehicle number or FASTag ID. The app will display your current balance and recent transaction details.
Are fuel prices updated in real-time?
Fuel prices are updated daily and reflect the latest rates published by oil marketing companies for cities across India. Enable location access to automatically see prices for your nearest city.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account by going to Menu > Delete Account in the app. Alternatively, you can email us at support@motobox.app with your request. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.
Is MotoBox free to use?
MotoBox offers core features for free. Some premium features may require a subscription. Check the app for the latest pricing details.
Which vehicles can I look up?
You can look up any vehicle registered in India, including cars, bikes, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles that are registered with an RTO.
